CRAFTS AND STONE

STORE POLICIES

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 21 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of craftsandstone.com and to every purchase you make from Crafts and Stone ("we", "us"). By using the website or placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy, which form part of these terms.

1. Using the website

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to create an account or place an order. You agree not to misuse the website: this includes attempting to access accounts or systems that are not yours, interfering with the website's security or operation, collecting its content or data by automated means, or submitting false or fraudulent information.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Please give us accurate details and keep them up to date. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

3. Our products

  • Natural gemstones and mineral specimens are each unique. We describe and photograph every piece carefully, but colour, brilliance and inclusions can look different on different screens and under different light.
  • Weights and measurements are given as accurately as we can measure them and may vary within normal trade tolerances.
  • We disclose origin and known treatments for every stone. Where a piece comes with a certificate from an independent gemological laboratory, the certificate reflects that laboratory's own findings.

4. Prices

Prices are shown in US dollars. They do not include shipping, which is added at checkout, or any customs duties, import taxes or brokerage fees charged by your country, which you are responsible for (see our Shipping Policy). If a price is clearly wrong because of an error, we will contact you before accepting the order, and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel.

5. Orders and payment

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. Your order is recorded as awaiting payment, and our team will contact you to arrange payment. A contract is formed when we confirm your order and receive your payment in full. We reserve each piece for you while payment is arranged; if payment is not received within the time we give you, we may cancel the order and release the piece.

We may decline or cancel an order before the contract is formed, for example if the piece is no longer available or we suspect fraud. If we cancel after you have paid, we will refund everything you paid.

6. Delivery

We ship insured and tracked. Responsibility for the piece passes to you once it has been delivered to the address you gave us. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

7. Returns and refunds

You may return most items within 14 days of delivery. The conditions, exclusions and refund process are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

8. Custom and commissioned jewellery

  • We will give you a written quote and design for each commission. Work begins once you approve them and pay the deposit shown on your quote.
  • The deposit is non-refundable. It covers design work and the materials and stones we set aside or buy for your piece.
  • You may cancel a commission at any time before the piece is finished. We will refund any payments you made beyond the deposit.
  • Once the piece is finished, it cannot be returned or refunded, because it has been made to your specification. This does not affect your rights if it is faulty or does not match the design you approved.
  • Completion dates are estimates. Handcrafting can take longer than planned, and we will keep you informed.

9. Viewings

Requesting a private viewing does not reserve a piece. We will contact you to confirm a time, and a piece shown at a viewing may be sold before then unless we have agreed to hold it for you.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including photographs, videos, text, our name and logo, belongs to Crafts and Stone or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

11. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses, and our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it.

12. Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, transport or customs disruptions, or government action. If such an event affects your order, we will tell you and, if it cannot be fulfilled, refund what you paid.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Islamabad have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you buy as a consumer and live in another country, you also keep the protection of any mandatory consumer laws of your country. Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us: most issues can be resolved quickly and directly.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
